Named one of the Top 25 Talk Show hosts by Talkers Magazine,
written about in USA Today, and featured daily in Talk Daily, Chuck mans the
most interesting, unique and informative program on the airwaves. Chuck founded
the For the People radio program in his garage in Tampa, Florida in 1987.
The program provides real news and investigative reporting that is of interest
to all Americans.
For the People seeks to provide a forum for the average citizen to learn about
consumer information and the workings of our government. Because the program
is financially supported by listeners rather than advertisers, Chuck speaks
without fear of corporate censorship or reprisals. And, he is a walking encyclopedia
of information from how to collect a debt to getting a large corporation to
respond to complaints.
Chuck worked for WFLA-Tampa, WMCA-New York and later began a
stint with Talknet. But, he became disillusioned with what he calls the "velvet
hammer" of corporate media. He and his wife, Dianne, invested $160,000
of their life savings to launch For the People for, as Chuck puts it, "...the
little guys who have no voice."
